Founded in 1997 Daddy Al's has strived to make the best fresh, made-to-order Subs & Sandwiches in Oneonta. We offer a variety of Amish meats & cheeses, local ground beef and sausage,..and much more!
Daddy Al's General Store is family-owned and operated right here in Oneonta, NY. Since our company opened its doors in 1997, we've treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Other stores may offer similar services, but our services are the best, and come with a personal touch. We use local companies and products when available.

Home on the 2020 Rockefeller Christmas tree and former home of Rocky the owl. Daddy Al waited patiently for the Norway Spruce to reach the required height of 75 feet before it could be considered. It was a great honor for him to donate the tree the day after veterans day during such a trying time for all of us.
Daddy Al's general store started on Southside Oneonta in 1997 and moved to its current location at 387 Chestnut Street in 2007. We supply custom made subs, grocery items, bulk spices, mostly from Amish companies, Milk from Clarks in Delhi, and farm fresh eggs right from Al's back yard, classic candy and new, among many other items.
